We are pleased to offer a completely original Alfa Romeo 1750 gtv series 1. Of many Alfa enthusiasts, this is considered the most successful Alfa Romeo Bertone coupe. The 1750 engine has both torque and high rpm. The interior is by far the finest, with Zagato sports seats and Ferrari-like instrumentation. This is an early 1968 model with the completely unique taillights with metal rings, as well as the beautiful integrated turn signals in the front bumper. The color is Giallo ocra AR-109. A contemporary color that suits the car very well.
Things that tend to go missing on old Alfas can be found here: Complete air filter box in aluminum and steel, the original rims that belonged to the car when it was new, jack, instruction manual, proof of purchase and extra keys. A book is included that confirms the car's history and life.
The car drives incredibly well. Starts easily hot or cold. The engine hums without valve or cam chain sounds. It pulls well and has all of the original 122 hp. The gearbox shifts without scratching or noises, the diff is quiet. The car goes straight on the motorway and sits well on winding roads. The interior is almost perfect, the carpets and front seats look like new. The back seat has a few cracks in the top, the headlining and sun shadows are nice. Jack and spare wheels are available. All instruments and switches work. The body has partly original paint and is partly repaired. It has a nice use patina that we personally had not repainted. After all, a car is original only once.
The observant Alfa connoisseur has probably discovered a few peculiarities. The car was delivered to Finland in 1968 without side mirrors. A common procedure at a time when only a mirror was required in Italy. The car got at the dealer 2 Vitaloni Sebring mirrors. These are also original equipment on the Lamborghini Miura and are as such very expensive. We think they fit the car well, but you can of course put on others. In addition, the car has a front bumper horn. This is probably because the car needed parking protection. Another curiosity is a third grab handle. This is the same as on the gta. Obviously the first owner enjoyed active driving. The passenger can hold on to this. The outer lamps of the four fronts have once been replaced. They should be curved Carello, here they are flat.
Alfa's classic coupe, popularly known as the "Bertone coupe", offers a lot. It has a great design, is good to drive and practical. The owners are often super enthusiasts. After a drive on winding roads with this, you go out with a big smile on your face. This is unadulterated driving pleasure. The sound of the car is absolutely heavenly, like a thoroughbred racing car that is slightly muted. This is real passion.
The previous owner is now over 80 years old. He wants new forces to experience the real Alfa driving pleasure. The car can be used as is and is something as rare as a "survivor". An original car that has been cared for all its life, but never completely disassembled or restored.
