An exceptionally well-preserved Norwegian-delivered Alfa Romeo Spider is now offered for sale. This car has always received whatever it needed from its owners, and we dare say it would be difficult to find a more honest and untouched 1985-model Alfa Romeo Spider in Norway. Simply turn the key and drive — perhaps all the way to Italy, just as the current owner did last year.
The car was sold new in Norway and first registered in April 1986, although it is believed to be a 1985 model due to the characteristic wrinkle-finish dashboard. Current mileage is 94,500 km, fully believed to be genuine. Included with the car is a handwritten notebook documenting maintenance and work carried out throughout the years.
The car retains its original paint in exceptional condition. The right front wing has been repainted at some point, although this is virtually impossible to detect.
New wheels and tyres were fitted in summer 2023. Significant work was carried out in 2025 to ensure reliability for a European road trip:
2025
New clutch
Both caster arms replaced
Complete original exhaust system
Custom-made racing air filter box produced by Gianpiero Anzalone, renowned engine builder with a background from Alfa Corse (currently fitted; original unit included with the car)
JBL speakers installed for improved sound quality
2026
Both rear wheel bearings replaced
MOT passed on 23.04.2026 with no advisories
Oil and filter service completed
Conclusion
A wonderful classic sports car, perfectly suited for relaxed evening drives or a grand European tour. This is a rare opportunity to acquire a classic Alfa Romeo that drives and feels remarkably close to a “new” car. The vehicle is being sold on behalf of a client who simply has too many projects. Come and see, hear, and experience the car for yourself — it is difficult not to be charmed by it. All that remains is to turn the key and head for the continent. Treat yourself to the adventure you may have postponed for too long. What are you waiting for?
Buying and selling classic cars should be an enjoyable experience. Please note that the car is sold strictly “as is,” without warranty. Classic car ownership is a passion and a hobby, and over time some maintenance should always be expected. Viewings by appointment only.
