The model R1134 Gordini was launched in 1964 and a legend was born. With a powerful and tuned engine of 1108 cc developing 95hp SEA @ 6.500 rpm. The power came from Renaults engine with a for the time modern cross-flow head and Solex 40 PHH2 twin carburetors. A close ratio 4- speed manual transmission made the car accelerate hard, and dual rear shock absorbers and uprated springs kept it fast through corners. The R1134 Gordini was originally available only in blue, the famous paint code 418, with two stick-on white stripes.
This is a almost complete rustfree R1134 project. The dismantled shell is freshly painted and the package contains of lots of restored and NOS parts. The car has rally/ ice/ racing history. All owners from 1972 are known. The correct engine in parts exsist and a complete overhauled Gordini gearbox for 1134 comes with the car. Lots of spare parts goes with the car, all sold as a package. This remains original with single headlights. It is very rare as most 1134 where converted to 1135 spec. (Double lights) This is still original with singel headligts.
