CAR IS SOLD
Seize the day! - Porsche 968 CS
This car may be inspected (to be purchased) under Oldtimer GP 12th - 14th August 2016, where it is with the 40th anniversary of Porsche transaxle vehicles. Contact us for inspection.
Today most Porsche fans are aware models from Porsche as: 911 RS, GT3 and GT2. But still there are jewels most people do not realize exists: We must admit that we thought that the 968 Club Sport was just a 968 with some additional stickers, nice race chairs and color coded wheels. How wrong can one be: The 968 CS is just so much more than this. This is what its predecessor 944 should have been from the start. Porsche has taken the normal 968 and fine honed all details for your enjoyment. A potent sports car that is the Porsche model 911 worthy. In fact is it better on the road than most nine-elevens. This 968 CS breathes down the GT3´s neck. This is a car Porsche has built uncompromisingly for enjoyment and pure driving pleasure. It's a race car for the streets, but also comfortable for daily use.
This 968 Club Sport was sold new in Japan, and imported to Norway with only 49.000km on it. Here it was stored for five until it was registered for road use on February the 5th, 2014. Before taken in use timing belt, fuel tank, rubber hoses, gaskets and seals where replaced. For the last two and a half years the car has only been driven 7.500km. The car comes with its original Speed Gelb Turbo wheels in excellent condition. Just like the car itself. It is said that the car has never been used on track, have been repaired for damage or repainted (except for wheels because of light curbing on the rims). There where only 1538 left hand drive Porsche 968 Club Sport produced, and many of those where delivered with comfort seats etc. This is one of few "real" Club Sport versions produced and delivered for its intended purpose, with options as:
M030 - Sport suspension and bigger brakes, 220 - Differential lock + 451, 130, 151, 193, 197, 209, 231, 323, 384, 385, 403, 419, 433, 434, 465, 466, 480, 492, 564, 573, 595, 605, 651, 657, 912, 990."
It bears its original paintwork with dignity and interior and engine compartment is perfect. The original Speed Gelb turbo wheels (as previously mentioned) comes with the car. The Porsche is sitting on immaculate Speedline wheels today. It has naturally full service history and documentation. The car is as the Germans so nicely put it “ Scheckheftgepflegt”.
It goes without saying that this car will attain cult status and is already a collector's item. The price of 62.000 Euro is very fair considering the low mileage and vehicle unique condition, we will say that this is really a bargain. This 968 CS is probably on of the best, if not the best in Europe.
And to Europe it goes:
Benzina is now offering you the chance to buy the car in Norway before it goes to a potential owner in Germany on August 11.
