SOLD
This has to be the best 124 sports coupe we have ever seen. The engine is springy and the feeling of driving it's a time travel back to 1971. One can only imagine the pleasure of going into a Fiat store in Turin in the early seventies.
And that was exactly what happened. On a holiday in Italy a dental specialist from Horten, Norway, fell in love. And it was true love. He saw the car exhibited in a shop window and just had to have it. He owned the car until the nineties. Then the paint began to look a bit tired. There is a little more challenging climate in Horten than in the cars birthplace Turin. It was sold to a uncompromising enthusiast who restored the car in every detail over five years. The result takes your breath away. In 2000 it was completed. Then, the Fiat was occasionally used and used to be a family member. Up until now, it has driven 15000 km. We have pictures from the restoration if the buyer is interested. Of course, we also send these to the buyer.
Perhaps it was the first owner's interest in teeth that decided the color scheme, this is uncertain, however, the white color car suits it well. With black fabric / leather interior, the car oozes of class. Here you can be Marcello Mastroianni for the price of a worn out VW Golf. The car is fast, in conjunction with the restoration, the engine was modified with headers, cams and subtle carb modifications (hidden by the air filter box). The result is no less than amazing: Sometimes we get cars that we want and not want to sell. This is one of them. The Fiat needs nothing, you can take it Torino tomorrow no problem, or perhaps Rome: La dolce vita!
