This lovely Alfa Giulia was delivered new in Norway, Kongsberg 30.11.68. The history is well known and documented both in magazines and in with receipts in a document folder. This is a piece of Norwegian / Italian history.
The Giulia is a fun to drive. Although apparently it looks like a family car, it has driving characteristics and power of a sports car. It was far ahead of its time, with full aluminum twincam engine and double Dellorto 40 mm carburettors. A five-speed gearbox ensures that the engine always has power. Even today, over 51 years since the car was born, you are certainly not a slowdown in traffic. With drag coefficient of only Cd = 0.34 (Better than a 1968 Porsche 911 of Cd 0.38). This makes it shows on motorways, with ample power even in high speeds.
The color combination Amaranti red and biscuit leather interior, oozes Italian class and 60's design. Had we purchased this car new, this would probably have been the specifications we had chosen. The contemporary Italian Cromodora wheels fit the design perfectly.
The sound, smell and feel of the car makes you smile.
This is a thoroughbred sports car with room for the whole family. It was completely restored from 1995 to 2002. The quality of this work is impeccable. The car is still great with just small signs of beautiful patina. Here you have a car, you can just get in on going to Italy tomorrow.
Everything is there, jack, spare wheel and tools. MOT´s back to 1976.
It is easily modified, but all original parts are included. The engine has been switched to a 1.8 liter (1750) with 122 hp. And it is easily lowered to improve the already good running characteristics.
We know the whole history of the car from new and have the name of all owners. We hope that it will remain in Norway and that Norwegian history will continue. You cannot import a Giulia ten in this stand finished VAT to Norway cheaper. That is a fact.
Please contact us for an appointment to view the car.
