Benzina has the pleasure of selling this amazing Alfa for our customer. This is the mother of all Alfa spiders, by many called by the nickname "Duetto". It is far more popular than the models that followed. In many ways it is understandable: Pininfarina designed a timeless body, with sober and simple elegance. This Alfa fits in well on Norwegian curvy roads as in front of a casino in Monaco.
 
The Alfa runs perfectly without any unwanted noises and with a healthy engine. The gearbox also works as it should with crisp throws. The glorius sound comes from a strong full aluminum four with two double Weber carburetors. It has been serviced by Carozzeria Alfa in Norway by the same owner for 20 years. This is a car you can go on a long trips with, or just drive for some ice cream in the sun. Everything works. Besides, it is completely original down to the rims except that it has been painted (a long time ago). The original steering wheel will be put on before the car is picked up by the buyer.
 
Of course, the car can be used "as is" but it is not 100% rust free. There is starting rust in the sill, lower front panel and on the luggage hatch. If this is addressed now it is no problem. The color is Alfa's 501 red, but it came originally in white (Spino Bianco) when it was new. This is why we sell it for half of the normal price these cars are going for Europe. With today's Euro exchange rate, you can simply make a bargain with buying this Norwegian car. Here you do not have to pay VAT, shipping and as mentioned a high Euro exchange rate. (If you live in Norway that is).
