Why buy a Porsche gt3 when you can get this unique car that is at least as much fun? It all started with an idea conceived by designer Axel Breun. What if a Renault Twingo could have a mid-engine in the same way as a Ferrari 308? After all, both cars had the same wheelbase. The mid engine Twingo never became a reality, but Renault was definitely inspired, and with old Renault 5 turbo 2 fresh in mind, they gave the green light to build the first Clio V6. The first cars were pure racing cars competing in the Renault V6 Trophy, but Renault persuaded Tom Walkinshaw Racing (TWR) to make a street car. In less than 18 months, they had created the legend Clio V6. Of the Phase 1 cars, as it is, only 1555 cars were produced. That means you have a car that is as rare as a Porsche RS.
You will not forget the first time you drive a Clio V6. This is pure undiluted driving pleasure for the discerning car enthusiast. You sit low and planted, pedals and gear levers fall perfectly into your hands. The steering feel is similar to that found in a Lotus. In other words magic. It's very similar to driving an old 911, it reads the surface well and you feel in control. You are constantly reminded that you are driving a mid-engine car with a large and powerful engine. Each ride on a fun winding road, accompanied by the wonderful raw V6 sound, gives you a lasting smile that lasts well into the evening. People wave, give a thumbs up and turn around as you pass them with an exotic exhaust note. There is no doubt that this is and will forever be a supercar in miniature format. Unfortunately, no one makes such cars anymore, that makes it even more special.
HISTORY
The car was brought into Norway by Pettersen Autoimport 13.09.2001. The owners of the car have been enthusiasts, and have taken very good care of it. At the time, the odometer was 59,000, today it has gone 69,000. It is only 10,000 km in 20 years. The condition of the car is excellent. It is completely original apart from KW Automotive coil-overs (Approved in the vehicle card and gives the car better far driving characteristics than the stock set up) and a Renault Sport steering wheel (smaller than the original and far better to drive with). All original parts are in good condition and of course follows the car. The original leather folder with service booklet, receipts and books are available.

CONCLUSION

The driving characteristics have been upgraded, so it is now not as scary as the rumours suggests. For the price we are asking, we dare say that nothing matches it in appearance or driving pleasure. But it will not last long as prices internationally are rising rapidly. This is a collectible car produced in a limited edition that adorns any garage. It is guaranteed to give the owner great pleasure both to look at and drive. The price is fixed, we also do not want to part exchange for anything else. If we do not receive a price request, it will be in the collection. Test drive is done only by us behind the steering wheel.
