SOLD
RARE OPPERTUNITY
Selling a 1968 Alfa Romeo GT Junior with the coveted "Scalino" front and a newly built engine. This model shares the same basic appearance as Alfa's unique GTA model. Additionally, it retains the attractive Giallo Ocra AR-109 color. Originally intended to be kept in the collection, circumstances have led to having two GT Juniors, necessitating the sale of one. Mechanically, it is in top condition, but the paintwork is in a used state. In other words, it may not be perfect for the perfectionist, but it's ideal for the enthusiast.
HISTORY
The car was manufactured on November 9, 1968, and delivered to Stockholm on November 12 of the same year. Registered to the first owner on March 31, 1969. Imported to Norway in 2009. The indicated mileage (138,000) is believed to be accurate (Documentation dating back to 1984, mileage: 70,970). The car has been with the same owner for 14 years, during which time it has only covered 7,400 kilometers, with only 2,000 kilometers after the engine overhaul. It comes with a binder containing history, original registration documents, and all inspections for the car.
EXTERIOR
The paint (as mentioned earlier) is in the original Giallo Ocra AR-109 color. The body and paint show signs of use, but the car is fully functional. It can be fully repainted for the perfectionist, but at an additional cost. Front and rear bumpers have been professionally straightened and polished. A new windshield will be installed before delivery.
INTERIOR
The dashboard is the sought-after Series 1 (similar to Alfa GTA) and is in excellent condition without cracks or holes. All instruments are functional. It features colored and leather-treated Vintage black Procar seats (similar to Recaro) with front headrests and original vinyl seats in the rear (Original front seats are included). Momo steering wheel with adapter to bring it closer to the driver. (An original steering wheel in good condition is also available if interested). There is a small tear in the headliner. See picture. Seat belts in the rear. The heater has a leak, so the water is currently disconnected from the system. This is likely a minor issue, but since the car is only used on sunny days, it has not been a priority. New door panels with plastic undersides have been installed on both sides. Handles and interior lighting have also been replaced. New gearshift boot and a "new" used ashtray.

CONCLUSION
This is an Alfa Romeo tastefully modified in the spirit of the 1970s. It can easily be turned back to original, but would you? The engine is flexible at all RPMs and runs very well. It has a magical sound. The model is the same as the one Alfaholic's has built their legendary demonstration car on, but the price here is just a fraction of that. The perfectionist might repaint the car. It has small dents and stone chips, but it has a charming patina as it is. With period-correct sports seats, Momo Prototipo steering wheel, GTA wheels, and a slight drop, you get an unparalleled driving experience. Everything is simply right with this car. It's not freshly restored, but that just gives more opportunities to use it frequently and with great joy without too many worries. This is a dream car!
The car is 55 years old, so we prefer the buyer to be knowledgeable about cars and understand that the car is sold without any warranty. We take the time to go through the car with you. This way, misunderstandings or unpleasant incidents are avoided afterwards.
We prefer telephone contact due to high workload. Emails or texts without full name / phone number will not be answered. An inspection appointment will be made in advance, and as this car is not as new an inspection is needed to get happy customers.
