Chassis no: VFA2700VAD0052030
In 1984 663 Alpine Renaults were made. The GT Boulogne pack was even more unique with only 27 examples built in 1984. Our car is special delivered in Berlin with further modifications when new. Among them is a special Blauepunkt stereo costing then 50.000 DM (!). AS far as we know this is the most expensive road going Alpine delivered new.
The group 4 Renault Alpine is most rated version of the Alpine V6, with the other few versions "Boulogne" The Boulogne version was developed by the Technical Center Alpine (CTA) of Thiers (without help from the factory) by Mr. Bernard Pierangeli (Who renewed the operation with the GTA turbo. The Alpine A310 GT "Boulogne" is equipped with the PRV Volvo version of 2849 cm3 with special cams and heads and 2 triple 42 mm Weber carburators. It developed 193 hp wich gave the car a top speed of 235 km/h.
Further modifications: Brakes from the Renault Turbo 2. Special wheels from Gotti. Tires Pirell P7 front 225/50/15 and 285/40/15 rear. Airbox, oil cooling, etc is modified for speed.
The Boulogne was unique and much faster than the standard Alpine. This Alpine is just as it left the dealership. Never restored and on its original Pirelli tires. A real time warp car.
