We are pleased to offer for sale a beautiful and original 1968 Porsche 912. This particular year is especially interesting, as many improvements were introduced compared with earlier models, making the car more user-friendly and modern in its driving feel.
The car is in excellent condition and equipped with a five-speed gearbox, allowing it to keep up easily with modern traffic. It is just as delightful to drive on winding backroads as it is on the motorway. Silver metallic with black leather interior is without question one of the most elegant color combinations available on a Porsche 912. The original date-stamped steel wheels, paired with period-correct Pirelli tires, give the car a clean and classic look. It is simply a joy to drive—and as a bonus, it brings a smile to people of all ages. Here you get a reliable classic that fits just as well in rural Toten as it does outside a hotel in Monaco.
History
The car came to Norway in 1998, at that time repainted red. It was imported from the USA, although it was originally sold new in Munich and first registered there on July 28th, 1967. This is an early chassis number for the 1968 model year – VIN 128.00.133.
The car was restored and repainted in the correct silver around the year 2000, and roughly 95% of the paint you see today is therefore 25 years old—still with no signs of rust.

11/2024 — New cocomats, new license plates — changed plate number from E-676 to period-correct Oslo number 21-33-10

08/2025 — Leather seat cleaning and restoration with Fenice — returned to a fine matte finish
10/2025 — Front bumper/hood repainted due to a minor parking blemish
Conclusion
An original and elegant Porsche 912 offering plenty of driving pleasure, and a solid investment for the future. You will fall in love the moment you turn the key. Viewings are welcome, and for serious buyers we are happy to demonstrate the car with us behind the wheel—provided there is no salt on the roads.
Buying and selling classic cars should be an enjoyable experience. We therefore kindly ask for your understanding that the car is sold without warranty, “as is”. Owning a classic car is a hobby, and sooner or later, something will require attention.
