Norway may not have its own Steve McQueen, but we certainly have our own wonderful Stig Henrik Hoff. This Alfa Romeo has been his pride and joy through thick and thin for the past 21 years. In fact, it was in this very car that we first met and became friends—exactly 21 years ago.
Stig Henrik isn't the kind of person who enjoys selling his belongings, so he asked me to handle the sale. Over the years, this Bertone has travelled to countless film and television locations around Norway, and it has even made two pilgrimages to Italy. In other words, it hasn't just been a means of transport; it has been a faithful companion and part of Stig Henrik's story.
Now he hopes it will find a new owner who will use it the way it deserves to be used—out on the road, with the wind in your hair, a smile on your face, and a cigarette hanging from the corner of your mouth.
Let's be honest from the outset: this car has what we in Norway would call a "rat look." It drives very well, but it has the appearance of a freshly discovered barn find. If you decide to buy it, it is entirely your responsibility to inspect the car thoroughly. Think of it as a running and driving restoration project.
With too many cars and too little time, the Alfa has spent more time parked in the garage than out on the road. Hoffern would much rather see it in the hands of an enthusiast who will continue to drive and enjoy it.
This car was built for driving pleasure—not concours competitions. Featuring a 1750 GTV front end and rare Zagato seats, it combines some of the finest elements of Alfa Romeo's legendary 105-series cars. If you're looking for perfection, there are better choices. But if you appreciate a classic with character, history, and charm, this car will speak to you. It has been maintained with care, enthusiasm—and, occasionally, a rattle can.
The car is ready to drive and enjoy. The body is solid, but dented in places and showing some surface rust. This is an enthusiast's car with genuine character, history, and just a touch of movie-star appeal.

Current Condition
The car runs like a Swiss watch—smooth, eager, and with a beautifully balanced exhaust note. The engine emits a small amount of blue smoke on the overrun, but otherwise performs very well. It passed its MOT inspection this autumn without any advisories.
