This is a tastefully modified Alfa GTV6. The engine is taken from the Alfa Romeo 75 QV. Originally it had 192 hp, this engine has better cams and modified exhaust. We estimate the power to about 210 hp. With the 2,5-litre gear box (perfect synchromesh) it just spits out the gears with a glorious noise. It gives the Alfa the power it should have from the start. Now it is a real sportscar.
It's one of the late gtv6 models, which means it's upgraded to be the ultimate spec. With the same gearbox as Alfa 75 2,5 with isostatic gear linkage. The becoming colour is AR909 Nero Metalizzato (black metallic).
The sound gives goose bumps, with the CSC middle exhaust section you get the right "rasp". The pedals are perfectly placed for "heel-and-toe" on down changes. The gearbox does not have synchromesh issues as per usual on these cars. The car is A LOT OF FUN to drive. The modified RSR suspension gives terrific handling - you can go very fast on the track with this modified gtv6.
The car was totally restored at 43000 km in 2010 (The mileage from new is unknown). The total mileage after that is 94000 km.
The car was in 2010 totally restored:
- Gearbox including bearings and synchromesh
- All suspension bushings
- RSR springs, dampers and sway bar
- Engine overhauled 3.0 QV with race pistons, bigger valves, ported high compression SZ cams and special exhaust and headers.
- Interior done in tan leather
- The body was dismantled, sandblasted and painted.
After that it has gone about 40.000 km.
The will be MOTed before delivery. Everything works as it should. The car appears as incredibly well maintained but not mint. The undercarriage is fresh, and pedals and the carpet in the car have little wear. This is a car that has been given much love and is modified in a subtle and tasteful manner.
