A rare find indeed. An original and stunning Porsche 924 turbo with prototype DP-styling. In 1980 Porsche produced only 5243 Porsche 924 turbos, of them only 1803 examples with European specifications like this. In other words, this is a very rare car.
However, not many know is that it is also a very capable driving machine. When the tacho hits 3000 rpm the car takes off. With perfect weight distribution, it attacks turns with ease. You come home after a drive with a big smile. The gearing is tall, which means that the car is suitable for long trips on the continent. Porsche says the top speed is 230 km / h. We think this is conservative number. The car is probably faster.
This car is a 1980 model. It is upgraded by the famous Porsche Tuner DP Motorsport with front spoiler, side skirts, mirror and rear bumper. This fits the car very well and looks positively eighties. Only this unique styling kit is known, and it is probably a prototype.
The car was taken off the road in Sweden in 1995 and has not been in use since. Hence the low mileage and the overall good condition of the car. It was given a full review in 2011, because it had been unused for many years.

Lacquer has some patina. Earlier owner thought this was original paint, we think the car has been painted before, if so it was professionally done. The inside is untouched. To get the car perfect, it should be repainted. But can be used “as is” without problems.
In 2011, the vehicle was given wax oil treatment. A CD room and papers on this are included in the sale.
